Gameplay

Machi Koro Legacy is Machi Koro with a twist! Typical for legacytype games, it tells a story over the course of ten games, adding all sorts of stuff and rules along the way. After these ten games, you will have a custom made copy of Machi koro, with a lot of new rules which you can (or choose not to) use.

I do not go into to much depth here, as I don't want to spoil anything the game has to offer.

Machi Koro in general is all about rolling dice and getting income from your cards, which will let you buy new cards, giving you more income. There are four attractions which you must build first in order to win the game.

Thoughts

Machi Koro Legacy is the third legacy game I ever played. And it is SO cool!! I like Machi Koro, I think it is a good gateway game, to play with kids, or people that don't play games that much. But it's not that special to me.. But this legacy version adds a whole new dimension to it! Because the gameplay is not that difficult there is so much room for the story and there are some really fun changes in rules and additions to the gameplay itself. I really want to tell all about it, but I will stop myself here. Only thing I will share is that there are quite a few new (awesome!) components that will be added over the course of the game!

A now brainer if you like the regular Machi Koro! And I actually can't imagine anyone not liking this legacy game...
