In this game you play as villains against each other and some of the good guys from the fate deck.
In the game are included: Hela, Killmonger, Taskmaster, Thanos, and Ultron. Each villain has their own powers and winning conditions!
On your turn you simply move your villain to a new location on your playerboard and get to perform the actions that are visible.
The actions can partly be blocked by other villains or heroes from the fate deck. Players get to play villain cards to locations to protect/battle them.
The villain first to complete their mission is the winner!
👍It's really awesome playing like the Marvel villains and each having their own special player powers and winning conditions! The powers are very well thematically transferred to the game.
👍The components are very solid and the artwork looks stunning. The miniatures that come with the game are really cool and add to the gameplay!
👍The gameplay is solid and overall I had very good experiences with it. There is a lot of luck involved in the fatedeck, so that kept me away from it a bit.
➖ The various villains feel a bit unbalanced. Thanos really wins a lot 😅. That being said, it doesn't bother me personally that much, but I know it does for some out here.
➖ There are a lot of rules that need to be taught before playing. Once everyone knows them it's an easy family category game, but it takes a while to know the characters.
Overall I'm happy with this game. It looks beautiful and it has a nice thematic Marvel vibe! I have yet to explore some characters!
