Gameplay

In this game players all get assigned a specific role card. There are different scenarios shown in the rulebook, but there are always three more roles in the game then there are players.

The narrator or the narrater from the accompanied app (recommended) lets some roles wake up during the night. The werewolves (if there are multiple) will know who the other werewolf is and there are some other roles that do other things like stealing a role or peaking at someone else's role. There are also roles that don't do something during the night specifically.

Then everybody who had some function in the night did their thing, players wake up and the great discussion begins! Players can say whatever they like, but cannot show or look at their cards. After a few minutes players get to vote on who the werewolf is. In case of a tie, both tied players die.

If a werewolf dies, team village wins, if no werewolf dies, team werewolf wins!

Thoughts

This game is a fantastic version of a werewolves game! I only knew of werewolves of miller's hollow (van Wakkerdam) and I always disliked the fact that some people get eliminated early in the game and the fact that it could take a whole evening. This game is supershort, only takes 3 people to play and you don't need a narrator, so EVERYBODY can play along 🙀🎉

I'm very enthousiastic about this little partygame. I love the vast amount of different roles and how there are combinations suggested in the rulebook that go together nicely. The big chaotic discussions after the night are SO much fun!

I recommend this game to anyone who likes to play exciting partygames with a lot of conspiring!
