Gameplay

In Suits you battle each other to see who is the real gentleman among you two. You do so by fighting each other after selecting two of the five available characters. Each character has its own unique deck to play with and its own special player powers.

During a turn you play three cards from your hand facedown, of which the other player chooses one. Then the effect of this card will be resolved. Effects involve for instance hitting the other player, taking a hit yourself, gaining life, search your deck and drinking coffee. When one of the players has no life left, that player looses the game, making the other the gentleman.

Thoughts

The thing I like most about this game is the possibility to play with different characters every time you play it. Every season plays according to the same rules and contains 5 characters and every character starts with a different life count and has a small benefit correlated with one or more of the cards that are in play. The card selection by the other player works very well, it's exciting to wait and see whether the other player picks the card you hope he or she picks.

I really like this game and we already played it a bunch of times. The gameplay involves a lot of chance and its simplicity make it easy to grab after a long day.
