Gameplay

In Escape Room The Game 2 you will find 4 new adventures; Panic on the Titanic, Dawn of the Zombies, Alice in Wonderland and Another Dimension.

You will try to escape from these different scenarios by solving puzzles! In the middle of the table you will place the chrono decoder. This device will count down the remaining time to unlock 'the room' and escape!

Each scenario consists of three envelops, each of them containing a part of the complete puzzle. They can be solved separately by collecting keys you find through, well.. puzzling 😉

Thoughts

I've had a lot of fun escaping from these four scenarios! The themes are nice and the puzzles are well thought through. With other escape puzzles, sometimes I find it somewhat farfetched or feeling wonky, but that's not the case with these ones, they really feel solid. I especially like the scenario Another Dimension!

I think it's very good that each scenario comes with clue cards, which, when the chrono decoder gives a special sound you can read in a special reader. This way they try to prevent one case blocking the time until the very end. We've solved two cases just in time and with two we needed some extra time.

If you like escape rooms and puzzles, I can highly recommend these ones.
