Gameplay

In this trick tacking game two viking clans fight for 'herloff', a viking term for honor and victory. You do so by playing rounds of 15 tricks. At the beginning of these rounds each player predicts how many tricks he/she will win and writes this down. The players continue playing rounds until one of the players reached 50 points.
Besides number cards and a trump, there are also special abilities tied to the cards 1, 3, 6 and 9 and to the 2 powercards, one of which make a trick invalid and one that functions as the lowest card in the game. The one with the highest amount over 50 wins the game!

Thoughts

Sometimes I forget how much I like trick taking games. This one brought it all back for me! I really like the special powers and what you can do with them to tweak how much tricks you will win that round.

I can really recommend this one if you like tricktaking games!
