Micro Macro - Crime City: Full House is an investigation game in which you and your fellow players try to solve crimes and mysteries by using a map and some cluecards.
Each 'case' consists of some cards on which questions are presented. These can be answered by what you see on the (very large!) map. There is also a small looking glass provided with which you can enlarge what you see.
If you think you found the drawing that you were looking for, the one that's leading the case checks whether the answer is correct, if so, they read some text and you move on to the next question, until you solved the case!
I really like the simplicity of this game. It reminds me a lot of find Waldo, because the game consists of looking for small creatures that are doing weird stuff on a map filled with other small creatures. I think this is a lot of fun!!
It's also super easy to explain. Plug and play I'd say! I really like that in this manual they explicitly name that there is some violence visible on the maps, so of you want to play with kids, you can make your own decisions for this. Also there are some codes provided for cases that are more 'kidfriendly'.
This is the second Micro Macro game, and I haven't played the first one yet. But I think I might soon, because I really liked this game, can't wait to play it on my own as well, think that would be great as well!
If you like solving crimes and are a find Wally fan... Go get this game!!
A copy of this game was provided to me by White Goblin Games for the purpose of writing this review. My opinion however remains my own.
