Thoughts

The gameplay I find fascinating. There is so much to do, so much to explore! Not only opening up a wide variety of actions on your playerboard, but also on the main board! One game you can be persuing a completely different goal as the next (and the next, and ..).

This is an older game, its first release was in 2009. But the gameplay feels so solid and doesn't withstand amongst the new releases in my opinion. In this big box variant, there are 2 extra boards available besides the standard board (3 in total) and it also includes 2 small expansions. A good bang for your buck if you ask me!

The extra boards each have a very different feel to them and introduce some new little things to use and explore. The added expansions for the base board add a nice touch as well. It gives a little extra guidence in this very large #sandboxgame. And overall an extra way to earn some more points is always welcome!

Overall, I feel like I'm actually putting traders and merchants on the board. They complete routes, bump some others of the roads, inhabite cities and have a whole lot of interesting actions to perform. I'm happy with the comeback of this classic!
