Gameplay
In this game players are drawing from a bag filled with meeples, all having their own special powers to be used as workers on the custom board, ór as warriors beating the monsters located on the sides of the board.
The actions on the board upgrade your meeples, gets you new meeples, lets you get rid of farmer meeples, it's meeple galore!
While battling the monsters, players complete quest ànd the game will near the end as the deck of monsters also functions as a timer of the game. At the end, players tally up scores gained for defeating monsters and completed quests, the player with the most victory points wins the game!
Thoughts
I love me a game of deckbuilding and this feels just like it! Love it when my deck (I must say 'bag') becomes slick and I draw only the good meeples!
👍 I really like how they've implemented the dungeon crawl vibe in such an accessible way. I won't say its a very light game, but I definitely won't call it heavy either. It makes sense!
👍 I really enjoy chasing the quests. I like gaining as much quests as I can, but also achieving goals is very satisfying.

➖ The game does have a small push your luck element, I think it's not very disturbing, but I can see some of you might.
➖ The deck of monsters functioning as a timer for the game is something you must get a hang of. You need to get a feel of the choice between fighting monsters and pursuing your bagbuild.
➖ Solo game comes with the expansion only
